Accompanying my husband Dan on a business trip to China in 2002, I purchased silks in Beijing, and later made this decorated "crazy quilt".

Dan has a miniature schnauzer when we met, and he gave me an "engagement schnauzer" in 1972. We have had miniature schnauzers constantly ever since. The silhouette pattern was actually of a "Scottie", so I modified it to make it appear schnauzer-like.
